Hi Tonette
We had a lovely time at Muntjac and thanks for being a great host. I can’t log onto the link for some reason so here are a few words that maybe you can upload.

We stayed at Muntjac cottage in A snowy March and it was warm and cosy. Tonette is an excellent host, attentive and knowledgable and made sure we were safe in the snow. Muntjac is well provisioned, has comfy beds and a great powerful shower. I would definitely recommend the cottage as a great base to see the lovely Lincolnshire Coast and countryside.

Hope the horses are getting better
Take care
Bev xx

Bev France,

Another very enjoyable visit to North Somercotes. Despite the 'Beast from the East' weather it was still warm and cosy at Muntjac. Tonette was helpful throughout and kept us informed of the developing weather systems.
Thank you so much for the lovely Welcome Pack, it is really useful. The cottage was, as usual, very clean and welcoming and equipped to a high standard. We love spending time in the village and meals at The Axe & Cleaver are highly recommended. Everyone seems so helpful and friendly and it is such a relaxed atmosphere over there in delightful rural Lincolnshire.

John & Mandy Beardall,

We had a delightfully peaceful and relaxing long weekend here. We loved everything about this place: Tonette's warm welcome, the cosy and spacious cottage, the starry skies, enclosed garden where the dogs enjoyed a good old potter, and the original hot tub. I'm already looking for the next free slot.

CL & RF & 2 dogs,

Just returned from a long weekend at Muntjac cottage, what an amazing place, so cosy, homely and spacious.we totally relaxed which was very needed.
Tonette gave us a perfect welcome and was on hand to help with the hot tub - it may have been just above freezing but we weren't letting that stop us using the tub.when it rained really hard and we could no longer see the stars we admitted defeat !
The welcome pack was lovely and much appreciated, the cottage really does have everything you could possibly need. Lovely comfy bed ,fluffy towels, bath robes and lots of hot water.
The dog towels were very useful even though we had brought our own - I under estimated how wet and dirty one dog could get, we walked on the beach and through the woods and had a brilliant time.
Checking our calendar to see when we can come back to Muntjac
Many thanks
Julie Ron & Axl

Julie & Ron Waldock,

We have just returned from the most wonderfully relaxing New Year at Muntjac Cottage. Tonette has thought of absolutely everything to make the cottage a home from home and nothing was too much trouble. From the superb welcome pack, comfortable bed, big telly, hot tub etc etc it was just perfect.
North Somercottes, although a quiet, sleepy village is super friendly and close to as many attractions as you need. We visited Donna Nook (a must in seal season) and the beach at Saltfleetby, brilliant for dog walking, as well as the wood walk and bridal way walk from the cottage door. We’ll definitely be back as there’s so much more to see and Martin just loved that hot tub ❤️
Thank you Tonette xx

Greer & Martin Kidney & the Schnauzers ,

We just Love Muntjac! The cottage is just magical and even more so with the Christmas decorations up, Tonette & Andy are lovely even making sure the hot tub water was perfect for us beginners 😊 we have already booked for Christmas 2018 which will probably be our 3rd time here. Cannot recommend highly enough.Thank you both x

Deb Cobley,

Just returned today from a splendid week in Muntjac cottage. Impressed by the new hot tub but alas weather was a little too cold for us to venture in. Did enjoy the evenings by the log burner in lounge, magical watching the shapes in the flames. The cottage is well kept, clean and met all our needs.
Thanks to Tonette for the welcome pack of treats and warm greeting and info on where to go, what to see etc. the big attraction at this time was the seals at Donna Nook, fantastic experience. Cosy cottage, visiting wildlife and good food at Axe and Cleaver. What more could we need. Brian and Norma. Nov 2017.

Brian and Norma,

Another lovely visit to Muntjac Cottage, it really is a home from home, so clean and comfortable. A real credit to Tonette and Andy who obviously put a lot of work in to keep improving the standard. We are always made to feel so welcome and have already booked for 2018 - Can't wait for our next visit!
North Somercotes is such a lovely village and the locals are so friendly and helpful. There are some delightful countryside walks from the cottage and we were very fortunate with the weather.
We finally got to see the seals at Donna Nook and that is an amazing experience and only a short drive from Muntjac.
Thanks to you both for a lovely holiday experience and the very useful Welcome Pack.

John & Mandy Beardall,

A great 4 day break in a superb cottage. We have stayed in many self catering accommodation and Muntjac is the best we have seen and so well equipped that you need for nothing. Thank you for the great welcome and lighting the fire which was very welcome when we came back from the seals. Hope to see you again.

We really enjoyed our family holiday at this very clean, private, warm, lovely cottage with all you need and more! Tonette gives you such a warm welcome and a very thoughtful and generous welcome pack too! A perfect base in a very quiet but friendly village to explore the coastline. Numerous places to visit, only a short drive away and Tonette offers good local knowledge on local shops, eating places and tourist spots. We are looking forward to our next holiday here and sad to leave.

Ann,

We stayed at Muntjac Cottage in April 2017, Tonette could not be more lovely, she was extremely helpful from advising on all the lovely places to visit locally to making sure we could connect to the WIFI!, Tonette left us the most lovely welcome pack, the Prosecco & chocolates were especially lovely as It was my birthday :) Muntjac is a beautiful peaceful cosy cottage with loads of character, gorgeous log burner and comfy beds, locally are the dog friendly beaches and walks and just a 5 minute walk to the local dog friendly pub!
We all enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked to go back for our Wedding Anniversary in November, Cannot wait!! x
Thank you Tonette for sharing Muntjac with us - would certainly recommend. :-)

Deb, Dave & Millie (our Labrador),

We stayed at Muntjac in March 2017 and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very well equipped and ideal for wildlife lovers and dog owners alike. Lots of local walks and beaches. Great for plane spotting at Donna Nook and near to Louth and Cleethorpes for a day out. Lovely welcome pack and the village has everything you may need. Bedrooms are comfy and warm and the cottage is cosy and full of character.

Julie Bowles,

Our first visit to Muntjac Cottage was in November 2016 and what can we say, words are not enough, come and see for yourselves. It really is a beautiful homely and cosy cottage which we now will class as as our 2nd home, so much so that we have booked to stay twice in 2017. We really do love this cottage very much, Tonette is the most wonderful host and we are proud to say that one of our hundreds of Seal photos that we took during our stay is now pride of place as a canvas on the wall, can't wait to come back & there is so much to do and see in the area. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage with us xx

Jude & Mark,

We have just had a lovely week at this cottage. So clean, cosy and well equipped. Lovely welcome pack upon arrival that was very much appreciated. The owner was very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area. So many lovely walks close by.
Everybody we met in the shops and out and about were friendly too. A hidden gem. We will definately return.
Thanks for a great week.
Hayley and Richard (March 2017)

Hayley Dixon,

Have just spent a week at Muntjac Cottage. We both really enjoyed it, cosy, comfy and relaxing. Very nice welcome pack on arrival, thank you, it was very much enjoyed. Tonette made us welcome, gave advice on things to do and see and made sure all was well, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has central heating, we turned it down in the evenings so that we could enjoy the log burner. The burner is set in a lovely old style fire breast which even has some "witch bottles" set into the brickwork, a custom of the 18th century preserving the olde worlde heritage of the cottage. We very much hope to return at some time.
Brian snd Norma. March 2017

Brian and Norma,

What a little gem....had a fabulous time so relaxing and peaceful, . Tonette could not do enough for you, a great welcome pack. Looking forward to our next visit.

Richard, Terri and Frankie,

Muntjac Cottage is an absolute delight and we thoroughly enjoyed our short break in Lincolnshire. This is one of the best value holiday rental cottages that we have ever stayed in, comfortable, well equipped and very cosy with the wood burner. The secure enclosed garden is ideal for visitors with a dog and must be very pleasant in the summer months. Tonette was helpful and welcoming and the welcome pack was superb. We are already looking forward to our next visit later in the year.

John Beardall,

What a pleasant relaxing break in this home from home. Very warm and cosy and one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. Tonette is so warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her
